Natalie Kaye-Aspinall

Assistant Principal - Curriculum & Assessment

Natalie achieved a BA Honours degree in Art & Design from Sunderland University, before embarking on her PGCE with QTS in Primary Education from Nottingham University in 2005. Since then she has taught across the primary phase of schooling, taking on various curriculum leadership roles before moving to Dubai in 2014. Her passion is using Art to influence other areas of the curriculum; a subject she researched and wrote her dissertation on to achieve her Master’s Degree in Education in 2017.

In September 2019, Natalie joined Wellington Primary School as Assistant Principal for Curriculum & Assessment. Prior to this appointment, she was a member of the Leadership team at GEMS Jumeirah Primary School where she held posts as both Head of Year and School Improvement Leader. The focus of her work there and now at WPS is curriculum and assessment; specifically the adaptation of the curriculum to include opportunities for STEAM education and developing children’s 21st Century learning skills.
