Asslamu Alykum & Welcome to Islamic Studies Department

We aim to create a warm and caring Islamic atmosphere where children can learn the teachings and practices Islam, through the application of the Holy Quran and Sunnah. We believe this will increase a child’s self confidence as well as identity as a young Muslim. All praise to the Lord and ask Him to accept our efforts which we do only in seeking His absolute pleasure.

Students learning in Islamic Studies

Children learn about the life and teaching of Last Prophet (May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon Him). How Last Prophet (S.A) Provides a role model to a follower to organise his or her life accordingly.

Quran Recitation

Children will begin the stage of recitation and memorisation of the Holy Quran. Each level will have a set of Surahs which they will be taught to recite throughout the year. Children will be tested on a regular basis for the recitation of the Surahs.

Wide range of creative activities are provided to prepare the young for their participation in the culture development. Thereby encouraging
individual for acting upon the truth. In which children are enjoying the teachings and challenges provided. It includes hands -on activities, stories, watching Islamic related movies, interaction, visits to the mosque for Ablution and Salah.
